NAfME

 

NAfME Collegiate is affiliated with three other professional music education organizations and the Penn State School of Music.

 

 

• NAfME: The National Association for Music Education advocates for music education, provides resources for teachers, parents, and administrators, and hosts professional development events along with many other events.  NAfME is somewhat of a parent organization to PMEA and all other state organizations.

 

• PMEA: Pennsylvania Music Educators Association is very similar to PCMEA except that it is for professional music educators rather than collegiate students.

 

• PCMEA: The collegiate version of PMEA.
